A twenty-something wife & mom...

Jackie has been creating things for as long as she can remember. Throughout her school years, she gravitated toward computers and web design. She created her first website from the ground up at age 13, teaching herself everything she knew about pixels, CSS, Photoshop, PHP, and more. That website featured custom MySpace layouts and various other MySpace-centered graphics created by the 13-year-old herself. She ran that website until age 15 when MySpace began to lose popularity. Her first website had about 150,000 views from 2008-2010.

She entered Berks Career and Technology Center in 2011, where she excelled in Graphic Imaging Technology. She learned the theory behind computer-aided image creation, design, and the entire post-scripting process to print. While at BCTC, she competed in the SkillsUSA Graphic Arts competition in her Junior and Senior years. She earned 2nd Place at the National Competition in both years and served as the SkillsUSA Club President in addition to competing.

After High School, Jackie went to Penn State University, Berks Campus. There she earned two bachelor's degrees Bachelor of Science in Information Science & Technologies and a B.S. in Security & Risk Analysis; she graduated in December 2018. In addition to her degrees, she worked as a Student IT Consultant and also served as the President of the Blue & White Society. During College, she found another passion: educating women about their bodies and relationships. She discovered her interest in human sexuality and started her business with Pure Romance in October 2016.

While running her small business, she designed countless graphics, marketing flyers, business cards, social media posts, product flyers, and large signage. She also worked hands-on with e-commerce websites, integrated systems to maximize efficiency with the order process, created email campaigns, managed mass text messaging, and managed a mobile app for clients. Jackie is still a Pure Romance affiliate but has shifted her primary focus to helping others with graphic and web design.
